The Block is the rather square boulder above Beginner's Slab, which is itself above the stairs on the northeast side of the rock. (See Map 1.) The traverse moves from left to right, around the corner, ending near the chimney in the I Boulder, above. The classic problem doesn't use the top of the boulder, but does use the rock that is cemented under the boulder (as shown in the video). A somewhat harder variation does not use this "artificial" rock. Reverse the problem, right to left, for a nice circuit.
