| Once Spurned, Now Barred... | |||||||||||
| Hold me close and say my name I shall whisper in your ear Smile at me and stroke my hair I shall simply shed a tear Cry out and touch your hands to mine I shall show you what you seek Hold my heart and crush it See the havok I shall wreak Spur my mind into new depths I shall hide the feelings you provoke Write me out your deepest soul I shall ignore those things you wrote Tell me you'll be different I shall be silently abrupt From the last that crossed my path Then see how I shall interrupt Try to get me off my guard To ease my troubled soul I shall thwart you and then leave you For you will not reach this goal. |
