You have taken your suffering, And made it so much a part of your psyche, That you believe the world's exterior, Is hard like yours, and just as spiky. You cannot find your inner peace, By looking in upon yourself, And so you have tried to cheat, By looking in upon everyone else. You have so many games around you, Only because you cannot bear, To think it could be true, That you're here because you're scared. Scared to think that you are not, One hundred percent pure, Unknowing and afraid of what, Power has kept all your days fewer. You are one step closer to God, Than the rest of us, Living in your little pod, Of which no one else can muss. Your manipulation in a vain attempt, To order and control your world, And only you are exempt, From the accusations you have hurled. You cannot understand, When all your plans go wrong, And deflect blame at every chance, Until all have heard your song. You weave yourself into a web, So tight you cannot move, And drown yourself instead, In the end, you only lose. |
