Ahza is traditionally a loving God and most popular deity. Old wives tales say that to be sent a dragonfly by Ahza is a sign that you will soon be lucky in love.
However many followers of the Goddess often forget that she is also the Goddess of lust and it is this that often gets the Goddess in difficult situations.
They say early in her life, Ahza came into contact with Makor God of strength and instantly fell into lust at first sight. Ahza threw herself at the God, flirting with the one she wanted so badly. But Makor restrained himself from the Goddess, turned her attentions aside and appeared uninterested. Instead he piled his attentions apon mortals, irritating the Goddess to no end.
In desperation, Ahza went to Makor's friends, hoping one would speak on her behalf. None came forward, it seemed Ahza's reputation proceeded her.
Then finally, one night, a friend of Makor's did come to Ahza. He was the God of Darkness, the nameless one, and he promised her she would have Makor for as long as she wanted. In return she would owe him a favour. Blindly Ahza agreed.
"Anything," she said. She wanted Makor so much, she did not think of the repercussions. And Ahza had Makor, the God of Darkness was true to his word. Tragically, Ahza was only interested in the God of Strength for less than a year. She didn't even notice that he didn't seem to care that she left him.
Ahza herself forgot about her promise to the God of Darkness until centuries later he returned to her to hold her to it.
"What do you want?" she enquired of the God in annoyance but when he told her she was shocked, "I cannot do that to her, she is one of my most loyal followers."
"You will do it," the God of Darkness replied darkly, "or I shall bring the brunt of my forces apon mankind." Ahza was forced to complete a task she would always regret. The task? The evil God of Darkness wished to bring to the world of mortals a child, a son, and he knew exactly which woman he wanted to carry that child. What exactly he planned for his son, no one knows, but the child was to be virgin birth and only Ahza, Goddess of Love, Lust and Fertility could provide him this.
