We believe that nature is beautiful and an important part of our planet that needs to be preserved. Our mission is to give customers the skin care they need while helping the environment. A percentage of all purchases go to environmental charities to help plant trees, clean up litter, and save wildlife.
Our intent with this website is to help let people know that a good place to find the kind of skin care they want is closer than they might expect. Our products are all organic and some are locally made, and they are gentle on your skin. We want each customer to have a pleasurable experience and to be ultimately satisfied with the products we offer. A lot of thinking and research went into the website to ensure that customers would learn of our store and to have a good experience not only in the store, but on the website too. Many steps were taken to build this website, starting with considering our audience and what they want. We understand that many people desire organic or locally made products for their skin that are effective yet gentle. This is why not only the website, but the whole company was created. We also wanted to ensure that we offered what customers wanted with a store website, which was for it to be clean, responsive, and informative.
Much consideration went into the design of the website, from the colors and fonts used to how images were arranged on the pages. The color combination of green, brown, and white creates a soothing atmosphere with an earthy feel. This ties into our products because they are green and we want them to soothe our customers. When it comes to the fonts used, a script style font was used for headline text not only because it is easy for viewers to read, but because it gives the site a sense of elegance and peace. A sans-serif font was chosen for description text because this font style is easier for viewers to read on webpages. The logo and navigation are placed at the top of the website so the viewers will know exactly where to look when they want to view another page. The contents such as the text and images are all centered on each page so that the viewer knows exactly where to look and so the pages feel balanced and organized.
While we were able to develop with a clean, organized layout that appeals to our audience, there were some features we were not able to add at this time. However, we are hoping to add these features in the future to further strengthen our website and make the visiting experience even more pleasant for our visitors. In the future, we are hoping to add a Google Maps feature on our contact page to help make it easier for viewers to find our store. We would also like to make our products available for purchase online in the future so that people from all over the United States will be able to try our products.
