| Chicken Pot Pie 2 cans cream of chicken soup 1 box Pilsbury Pie Crusts (2 crusts) 1 chicken breast 1/4 tsp. salt 2 C. mixed vegitables 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 small onion chopped Grill or cook chicken breast on stove. Chop and cool. In a large bowl, combine soup, mixed vegitables, onion, salt, and pepper. Mix and add chopped chicken. Place one of the pie crusts in a pie pan. Pour soup mixture into crust. Top with remaining crust. Cook for 45 minutes at 375 degrees. |
| Baked Italian Spaghetti 1 minced onion 1/4 tsp. marjoram 1 lb. ground beef Dash of garlic salt 3 T. salad oil 1 T. sugar 3 (8 oz.) cans tomato sause 1/2 tsp. salt 1 C. Burgundy cooking wine 1/4 tsp. pepper 1/4 tsp. oregano 1/2 lb spaghetti 1/4 tsp. rosemary 1 C. American cheese (grated) Brown meat and onions in salad oil. Add next 9 ingredients and simmer on low for about 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Cook spaghetti and add to sause with 1/2 C. cheese. Place in casserole dish and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. May be made the day ahead and refrigerated. (I have substituted elbow macaroni for spaghetti and Velveeta cheese for American cheese. | Beef Burgundy 1/2 pound hickory smoked bacon 4 C. egg noodles 1 lb. chopped steak 1 tbs. parsley 1 medium onion 2 cans Golden Mushroom Soup 1 C. Bugundy cooking wine 1 small can mushrooms In a frying pan, cook bacon until it is very crisp. Romove bacon and set aside until cooled. Crush bacon into bacon bits. Place chopped steak and chopped onion in the frying pan and thoroughly cook. When meat is done, add soup, wine, and mushrooms. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Boil noodles until done. Pour noodles on a serving platter, poor meat and sause over noodles, sprinkle bacon bits on top of meat sause, sprinkle parsley on top of bacon. This dish makes excellend leftovers. | Pop's Prime Rib Boneless rib roast (5 pounds) Heinz 57 Sauce Lawreys Seasoned Salt Preheat oven to 425 Coat the roast with Heinz 57 and then sprinkle generously with the seasoned salt. Cover the bottom of a roasting pan with water and place the roast on the rack in the pan. Bake the roast in the oven at 425 for 15 minutes to sear it. After 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 350 degrees. Continue baking at 350 degrees until the meat is at least 160 degrees at the center of the roast (3-4 hours). 160 is rare.
