Hello dear friends, Greetings from Medelln Colombia. Recently I went out with the child evangelism team. We arrived in a very poor area near the city center and entered in a building they call a Hotel. We were let in by the doorman who opened the metal door for us. Once inside we went to a big room where there were 25 children waiting to receive their chocolate milk with bread from our team. After trying to get the children to quiet down a little the leader tells them a story from the Bible. Sometimes the moms also get some special attention in another room. After that a row is formed with much difficulty to hand out the treat. Some mothers lead a terrible life, and the little children automatically fall into that lifestyle. We dont call these children street children but Children at high risk, because from one day to the other they can find them selves on the street because of misery. It is a great task to get these people and children on the straight path. |

Part of the children in our house with some of their parents on an outing. Such outings are important to restore the relationship between parent and child. |

We have a special need for a computer which the girls in the girls house can use. Some girls are getting older, and this is the right time to learn something about the computer for their general development. And they can also do their English homework on the computer with a special program that translates and pronounces English and Spanish. I already got some gifts for this goal. Would you like to participate? Send your gift marked Computer. |
Saudi Arabia The Middle East stays in the news these days. I was surprised to see that one of the explosions in SA last month was in a building compound where I worked 6 years ago. I worked there with a small company who built individual car parks for the cars, there is nothing left now. I wont forget how they said on TV at that time that SA, "as a pure Muslim country, is the most peaceful country in the world." And that they "will conquer the whole world starting with London." Pray for the persecuted Christians in SA they are having a hard time. |
Thank you very much for your gifts and prayersGod Bless you
