Inventory Management and Physical Inventory

This summary gives a general introduction into the procedures utilized by the SAP R/3 system to manage the company's stock in both quantity and value. It details the movement of goods, the ways the system uses to determine what stock to pick, the integration with the rest of modules, and the procedures utilized to carry out a physical inventory.

Batch handling

The summary is a short introduction to the use of Batches in the SAP R/3 system. A batch is a set of items with the same features, for example the same ingredient potency, the same color, or the same expiration date. Inventory Sampling

Inventory sampling is a method utilized in the Materials Management and the Warehouse Management modules to carry out a physical inventory.
