We stayed at the Stardust Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip for four days and nights. We had a buffet comped to us each day of our stay, and a different show three nights in a row. It was great!
The first night we stayed was our 'getting there' night, and being partied out from our wedding already, we took a leisurely time getting situated. The next day started out hotter than the hinges of Hades at 106 degrees. Yikes! We found our way across the street to the Riviera where we saw a comedy hypnotherapist perform live onstage. It was a little bit of Vegas cheese, and it was really fun.
While we were on the strip, we won a buy one get one free ticket to the Follies Bergere. We said, "Sure!" and bought two Follies tickets for the following night. It was a lot of fun, featuring Wally Eastwood 'The Fastest Juggler in the World'. We didn't even know he was in the show; we'd have paid just to see him! It was the first topless revue I've ever seen, and it was really good.
The next night had to be the best, though. We went to go see Blue Man Group at the Luxor. Wow, what an incredible hotel (those inclinators are a trip!) and what a fantastic show. Those Blue Men know how to party! I kind of felt sorry for the guy that was chosen out of the audience to get suited up, painted and slapped repeatedly against a large canvas. But hey, that's entertainment! After all that, we wound down the evening by taking a trip to downtown Vegas. We visited Fitzgerald's and Mermaids, and got fershnuckered. We took a wild cabride back to our hotel room and spent our last evening in Vegas.
