Rules for Nightmare Games 2 - 4
Nightmare II: Zombie

You will need a MASTER GAME SET to play ZOMBIE as it is a Sequel to The Video Board Game NIGHTMARE.
The rules of NIGHTMARE remain the same; simply replace the TIME and FATE cards with the two new sets provided and you are ready to press PLAY.
You will be using the same set of CHANCE cards, the same coloured keys, coin, discs, playing pieces and the graveyard game board.
NIGHTMARE is a faster game and you will have to listen carefully to what the Baron says for you CANNOT PAUSE or REWIND the video tape if you miss something.
When the Baron is speaking, everybody should be silent, as some of his tasks are deliberately confusing.
Here are a few tips:
When the Baron says THRILL ME, you must stand up and say 'YO BARON I CAN DIG IT' and remain standing until the Zombie disappears.
You might also be asked to repeat SHOWTIME, BIGTIME, PARTYTIME or AND THEN SOME when you hear a particular sound. Remember the 'cue' sound!
The Baron is very, very fast and you cannot afford to hesitate, even for a second.
If you are in the BLACK HOLE, you cannot play until released, unless The Baron calls for you specifically by name, age or number.
So TURN THE VOLUME UP AND THE LIGHTS DOWN and experience a new dimension in home entertainment.  The Interactive Video Board Game NIGHTMARE.  Just try and STOP him now.
Nightmare III: Witch
You will need a MASTER GAME SET to play WITCH as it is a Sequel to The Video Board Game NIGHTMARE.
The rules of NIGHTMARE remain the same; simply replace the TIME and FATE cards with the two new sets provided and you are ready to PLAY Anne de Chantraine - WITCH NIGHTMARE III.
You will be using the same set of CHANCE cards, the same coloured keys, coin, playing pieces, discs and the graveyard game board.
The Witch is played with 2 dice and you must roll both dice, unless instructed otherwise, until you have collected all six keys, then you are free to use either one or both dice.
The only exception to this rule is if you draw number 1 from the bag.  You are allowed to use one dice but ONLY when Anne demands you roll your number for a key, or to play again.
Anne also introduces some brand new elements to NIGHTMARE.  If you can collect two parts of a spell from FATE you can really work some magic.  You can also exchange FATE cards with other players if you have a WITCH'S TRADE - but beware of the WITCH'S LIE.  Read all your cards carefully, and always listen carefully to what Anne says.
Once again, while Anne is speaking, you are not permitted to move around the board and if you are banished to the BLACK HOLE you cannot play the game unless The Witch specifically calls for you by name or number.
Anne de Chantraine was 17 years old when convicted of witchcraft and burnt alive at the stake.  She was, naturally, innocent, hence the player's response of "Mea Culpa Anne", Latin for "I am culpable."
We recommend you to have played NIGHTMARE before attempting The Witch as it is a faster and more difficult game.
If you have a HI-FI VCR or stereo system linked to your set, use it to enhance the overall atmosfear.

Play it LOUD with the lights LOW.
Nightmare IV:  Vampire
You will need a MASTER GAME SET to play VAMPIRE as it is a Sequel to The Video Board Game NIGHTMARE.

COUNTESS ELIZABETH BATHORY
The Blood Countess Elizabeth Bathory is one of the most murderous Vampires in the history of horror.  Born in Hungary in 1560, Bathory killed more than 650 young women, and took early morning baths in their blood in a quest for eternal beauty.
There is some genealogical evidence to suggest Bathory might have even been related to Vlad 'Dracula'.  Imprisoned in her own castle for her perverse crimes, she died at 64.  Or did she?
NIGHTMARE IV is not just a race against the clock.  It is a game of survival as, one by one, players are turned into Vampires.
The rules of the game remain the same and you will be playing with the same set of keys, playing pieces, numbered discs, coin, dice and the same graveyard game board, NIGHTMARE and CHANCE cards.
Simply replace the TIME and FATE cards with the new sets and then fix the adhesive BLACK ROSE label to the game board and place this additional set of cards on top.

BLACK ROSE Cards
NIghtmare IV introduces an additional set of cards to the game - BLACK ROSE.
These cards are not won off the board.  The only way you can pick up one of these cards is if specifically instructed by The Countess or on a Time card and even then you have to guess what is on the back of the card in order to keep it.
For example, at various points during the game The Countess will appear and ask you to choose between "Pleasure" and "Pain."
You must immediately choose one or the other, answering either "Pleasure" or "Pain" immediately.
The Countess will then instruct you to take a BLACK ROSE.  "If what you have chosen is on the card, you may keep it..."
BLACK ROSE cards carry special pleasures and pains. They can turn you into a Vampire, protect you from one or even destroy one.
