The Fortress Artillery Regiment.


Regimentul 1 Artilerie Cetate (formed 1.4.1893 in Focsani from Regimentul 1 Asediu * (Decret 1268 / 31.3.1893); 1.4.1913 disbanded (its 3 battalions became independent). The new Regiment 1 Cetate formed from Regimentul 2 Cetate with same locations, see below; 1.11.1916 evacuated from Chitila to Galati; dibanded 1.4.1917 in Husi area)

Regimentul 2 Artilerie Cetate (formed 1.4.1893 in Chitila* from Batalionul Asediu Bucuresti (Decret 1268 / 31.3.1893); moved 1895 to Bucuresti (Decizia 90 / 15.6.1895); 1.4.1913 renamed as Regimentul 1 Artilerie Cetate, see above)

  • 1.4.1893-1.4.1894 with the companies: 1 - Chiajna, 2 - Otopeni, 3 - Pantelimon, 4 & 5 - Chitila
  • 20.4.1894-1.4.1900 now with its 2nd battalion (companies 6 & 8 - Afumati, 7 & 9 - Jilava, 10 - Domnesti) (Decret 1562 / 6.4.1892).
  • 1.4.1900-1.4.1906: with the 3rd battalion.
  • 1.4.1900-1.4.1913: with the 4th battalion (companies 1 & 2 Jilava + 2 new companies)..
