• 4.44: moved to the Moldavian front, in the bridgehead N of Iaşi (assigned to Corpul 4).
• 23.4.44: it enters the front lines. Until 18.5.44 D.3.I. resists to Soviet attacks at Movila lui Samoilă and Dealul Olarilor (seized by the Soviets on 27.4.44).
• 30-31.5.44: D.3.I. seized the heights N of the forest Tălmaciu – N of Vulturul (in the frames of the German "Sonia" Operation).
• 4.6.44: it seized Dealul Olarilor and Moimeşti.
• 07.44: withdrawn on Traian Line for reorganisation (due to heavy losses). Replaced on the front by Div.5 Cav.
• As in 20.8.44: D.3.I. deployed on frontlines in Negreşti, Todireşti, Rafaila area, 25 km NE of Vaslui.
• 20-23.8.44: withdrawn up to Focşani under Soviet pressure.
• 29.8.44: arrived at Poienarii Apostoli, then in action against the German troops at Miroslăveşti and Ţigăneşti (S of Ploieşti).
• Beg. 9.44: moved from Ploieşti to NW of Braşov.
• 6-10.9.44: in action along the valleys Racoş and Baraolt, succesively liberating the villages Caţa, Aita Mare, Aita Mijlocie, Micloşoara and Baraolt.
• 11.9.44: D.3.I. passed the demarcational line to Northern Transylvania, liberating Jimbor and Satu Mare.
• 16.9.44: arrived on the Niraj river, then further in action at Acăţari, Stejeriş, towards Târgu Mureş.
• 28.9.44: Târgu Mureş was liberated.
• 29.9.44: the division crossed the Mureş river, then fighting in the bridgehead N of Mureşeni, on the heights NE of Sântioana de Mureş, on the Terheş Hill, at Berghia, etc.
• 9.10.44: grouped in Berghia.
• 10.10.44: grouped between Şăulia - Miheşu de Câmpie, then D.3.I. follows the enemy on the direction Mihăşul de Câmpie – Geaca (arrived here 11.10.44) – Sucutard (arrived 12.10.44).
• 12.10.44: fightings in the Imbuz valley.
• 13.10.44: actions at Sic (south of Gherla).
• 14-20.10.44: passed to the Armata 4 reserve, grouped in the areas: Coasta - Visa (14.10.44), Sărata, then Trestia (15.10.44), Moigrad (17.10.44), Crişeni (18.10.44), Şamşud (19.10.44), Sărmăşag (20.10.44).
• 21.10.44: again in action, following the enemy on the directions Bobota – Secăşeni – Tăşnad and Măeriştea – Zalnoc – Blaja.
• 22.10.44: deployed N of Petreşti.
• 23-24.10.44: fightings in Berea, Ciumeşti, Marna area, on the western frontier.

• 25.10.44: S of Nyirpilis.
• 26.10.44: in action in Hungary, D.3.I. seized Nyirpilis (26.10.44), Oféhértó (29.10.44), Nyirlet (30.10.44), Kék and Vasmegyer (1.11.44). In the evening of 1.11.44 the division is deployed along the Tisa.
• 2-6.11.44: actions at Jasztelep tanya, in an effort to cross the river; then the division was replaced with Div. 1 Cav. and was moved to the bridgehead N of Tiszalök.
• 11-15.11.44: action from the bridgehead for the seize of Csobaj;
• 17-21.11.44: actions at Mezőzombor;
• 22.11.44: regrouped N of Tiszadada, then moved SW of Megyaszó (on the Hernád river).
• 1-13.12.44: actions for the opening of Hernád valley at:
  • 3-12.12.44: Halmaj;
  • 12.12.44: Alsókazmarks;
  • 15.12.44: NW of Forró.
• 16.12.44: D.3.I. fights at Garadna.
• 17-18.12.44: it temporary arrived on Slovak soil, S of Buzica and Him, where it passed to the defence.
• 28-31.12.44: grouped in the area Vendegi - Becskeháza, then re-grouped in the area Jósvafő - Aggtelek, and assigned to the Soviet 50^th Corps for the Roznava Operation.

1945.

• 12.1.45: started from positions SW of Brezova, it begun the actions in the frame of "Roznava" Operation:
  • 14.1.45: it seized Plesivec (on Stitnik valley);
  • 15.1.45: it seized Paskova.
  • 22.1.45: after heavy fightings, the division seized Kunova Teplica.
  • 23.1.45: it seized Stitnik.
• Then D.3.I. followed the enemy on the direction Jelsava – Muran, arriving at W Revuca - S Revucka on 25.1.45, and W Muran on 28.1.45.
• 31.1.45: it liberated Brezno (on the Hron), then it took action towards Kram (with a very difficult progress, sometimes of 20-25 metres a day).
• 22.2.45: regrouped S of Zlatno (southern flank of Armata 4).
• 25.2.45: S of Pcova.
• 2.3.45: it seized Pcova.
• 3-12.3.45: marching towards Zolna, then replaced by the Div. 9 Inf and actioned to Lukove.
• 15.3.45: it seized Lukove; then (until 22.3.45), deployed SW of Zvolen, in Baciurov, Ostra Luka area (replacing here the Soviet 133^rd Inf.Div.)
• 22/23.3.45: it passed the Hron river, then in action on a wider front, it succesively seized the villages Cosova, Lehotka, Budiska, Dubrava, Jelesna, Breznica, Ladno (up to 26.3.45).
• 30.3/1.4.45: it seized Svab.
• 1.4.45: it seized the heights E of Horni Ves (S of Kremnica).
• 3.4.45: it took part (together with Div. 9 Inf.) to the liberation of Kremnica; then in action on the direction Kremnica – Nitrianske Pravno (reached 7.4.45) – E Cicmany (10.4.45), in the Great Fatra Mountains.
• 14.4.45: moved N of Zliechov.
• 26.4.45: located only few kms to the west, E of the Kopec - Mojtín line.

• 26/27.4.45: regrouped and sent to Uherský Brod area, on Olšava river.
• 30.4.45: advance to N of Hradčovice.
• 1.5.45: it seized Částkov, Svárov, Kelníky, arriving W of Velký Ořechov.
• 2.5.45: it seized Salaš and Bohuslavice.
• 3.5.45: it seized Karlovice, Malenovice, Louky, Prštné, arriving W of Zlín.
• 4.5.45: N of Zlín.
• 5.5.45: advance to 2 km N of Mladcová.
• 6.5.45: advance through Lechotice, Třebetice, Količín, to a line between Hulín and Holešov, where it received the order to pass the Morava by Napajedla.
• 7.5.45: until 9.00 A.M, the following units passed the Morava river: Reg.6 Art, Reg.30 Inf, Reg.1 Vt; before dark it arrived in Doloplazy - Němčice nad Hanou - Víceměřice area.
• 8.5.45: after a 80 km march, it enters the fight, conquering Kobeřice, arriving N of Dobromilice.
• 9.5.45: fast move from Vaskov, through Otaslavice, Kobylničky, to the north of Krasensko (5 km NE of Jedovnice).
• 10.5.45: at 16.00: Reg.4 Inf at Štěchov, Reg.30 Inf, Reg.6 Art, Reg. 1 Vt at Lysice, the end of the column at Rájec; then arrived in South Bystřice nad Pernštejnem area.
• 11.5.45: at 3.15 A.M: the advanced detachement at Radkov; at 8.00 A.M: the advanced Reg.4 Inf at Křídla, the main forces: Reg. 6 Art at Bystřička, Reg.30 Inf at Býšovec, Reg.1 Van at Štěpánov.
• 12.5.45: fast advance through Petrovice, Nové Mesto na Moravě, to the resting area Radostín - Polnička - Škrdlovice - Karlov.
• 12.5.45: retreat to the final resting area of Světnov - Počítky (N of Žďár).
• 13.5-9.6.45: in the resting area.
