HISTORY.

23.8.44: grouped in Craiova - Cetate - Calafat - Rastu area with 5930 militarymen.
24.8-7.9.44: deployed bewteen Cetate and the Jiu river with the missions: to protect the Danubian harbours of Calafat, Cetate and Bechet; to block the Bals - Cetate route. It actioned against German troops at Calafat and Bechet.
19.9.44: merged with the remains of Div.2 Infanterie, just arrived from the Moldavian front.
11.44: disbanded (Instructiuni 70200 / 1.11.44).
