HISTORY.

3.44: transferred from Moldavia (now part of the German Army Group South Ukraine's operational area) into the interior, to avoid overburdening the supply system.
23.8.44: grouped in Turnu Măgurele area, with 4966 militarymen.
26.8.44: some of the division's reporting units disarmed two German detachements at Rosiori de Vede; the rest of the forces actioned against the German ships of Danube.
28.8.44: moved to Transylvania through the Predeal Pass, it was assigned to the re-established Corpul 6 Armată.
6.9.44: the 2^nd Hungarian Armoured Division broke through the over-extended division lines at Ludus.
until 20.9.44: action in Gănesti - Bahnea area, then advance on the direction of Gănesti - Sânpaul.
11.44: disbanded. (Instructiuni 70200 / 1.11.44).
