between 9.39 - 8.40: grouped in the second line of Corpul 7, in the area Şimleul Silvaniei - Sărmăşag, NW of ZALĂU.

1940.

8.40: grouped in the above areas.
9.40: after the Northern Transylvania's occupation by Hungary, Div.17 Inf.. withdrew and regrouped S of the new frontier, in the area Feldioara (cca. Ocna Mureş), then moved to the new garrisons of CRAIOVA - CALAFAT.
1.11.40: disbanded.
