| This Knight above was my first carving, made 30 years ago using Exacto tools and Balsa Wood! I found out my neighbor was a carver. When he saw what I carved from balsa, he said it was one of the hardest woods to carve because it splinters so easy. He gave me a pattern and a piece of bass wood and I carved the fisherman below. Both done some time in 1975. Knght stained and fisherman shoe polish finishs. | |||||||||||||||||
