We will miss the old facility and format however we are very excited about this new league's competition. The following teams will be part of the inagural season: Eagan, North St. Paul, TC Thunder, Holy Angels, Richfield, Irish, Velocity (WBL) and Totino Grace Eagles.
Dome ball with the Danes is an opportunity for our players and prospects to continue to develop their skills while also stay shart for High School and Summer Seasons. Many players join the Danes Dome Ball team to be considered for full time rosters spots the next summer. This year we have a few prospects who have committed who will be using the Danes Dome Ball Season to learn our system and get to know teammates.
Another key component of the Danes Dome Ball season is to provide college coaches the opportunity to come out and get another opportunity to see us play softball. In years past we have had a many college coaches watching at least one of our games each season. Many come for a few weeks. These are the strong coaches whose programs are winning games and who are looking at the best players -- it is a great experience for everyone involved.
