BEATLEMANIA

The Beatles is the most famous group of the whole British Invasion, being the first one of them that conquered America. They've opened the door to the others.
These lads from Liverpool are turning the entire world into a fever that is being called "Beatlemania" cause they cause euphoria and sensation everywhere they go!
Their names are: In rythmn guitar John Lennon the rebel Beatle (9/09/1940), in bass Paul Mc Cartney the handsome Beatle (18/06/1942),in lead guitar George Harrison the shy quiet Beatle (25/02/1943) and in drums Ringo Starr the most popular Beatle (07/07/1940)

With thousands of records sold in both sides of the Atlantic, the Beatles have got  the world at their feet."A hard day's night" their first movie made in 1964 was a parteaguas that has inspired the birth of many groups like
"The Byrds".
"HELP!" Their latest movie has combinated perfectly music,adventure and fun.And the unforgettable "Yesterday" is released in the soundtrack album.
With their performance at the "Shea Stadium"
they have become the first musical group to play in a stadium instead of clbus and teathers. That's because the Beatles is a BIG deal.
They also helped the economy improvement of England, reason that brought them to gain the
MBE (Members of British Empire) condecoration from the Queen Isabel II
We all were surprise cause this distinction  is used to be just for war veterans or science man
but...a rock and roll group????

Since the famous  quote of John Lennon "The Beatles are most famous that Christ" and the troubles in Philipinas,we haven't heard about  the Beatles recently, besides the stop touring...what would had happen with them??  Will they break up in 1967??
The critics are harder than ever. They say the Beatles used to be a fresh band that had brough innovations, but they're over, the ran out od ideas, the Beatles is history. Can these be true??

SGT PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND

I knew it couldn't be true...

In June 1st,1967 the new Beatle album "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts club band" was released becoming an instant chart topper and removing "Headquarters" (Monkee album) from number 1.
This album brought the Beatles the deserved recognition as the greatest composer of this time, equalling  Lennon-McCartney to the level of Beethoven or Mozart.
Sgt Pepper's is the perfect album for these PsYcHeDeLiC times.
It has gained critics respect and comercial success aswell. It's the first conceptual album. Its concept is SuRrEaLiSm cause all the songs have connection among them and all of them are wonderful.
The album manages the melancholia of "She's leaving home" to the India-influenced "Within you,Without you"
Pepper is the perfect album for this times

After a medium sucess with "Magical Mistery Tour" album and movie, the Beatles started 1968 managing themselves after the death of Brian Epstein, their long time manager .
After a couple of months in India with Maharishi Mahesh Yogim and a cartoon picture called "Yellow Submarine"  they returned to England to create Apple Corps, their own record company. And they're promoting many artists being the most outstanding Mary Hopkins with the chart topper "Those were the days"
and themselves release the double album called "The Beatles" (aka the White Album) and the unforgettable single "Hey Jude"

But magic had gone and in 1969 the Beatles are trying to find themselves but it seems like they take different ways.
Will this be the end???
