| They all piled into different cars, and set off to Kissime. Unfortunately, Sabrina had forgotten what kind of driver Justin was, and she hopped into the front passenger seat of his car. As they were cruising down the highway, Sabrina asked herself why she was so stupid. She managed to ask Justin for his wallet, even though she was having a hard time talking, she was so terrified. He gave her a weird look, but leaned over and gave it to her. As she was flipping through it, she found what she was looking for. "Oh, man, this is a crock!" "What?" asked Justin, puzzled. "This says you're a level blue safe driver. That's a bunch of shit!" Justin made a face, and snatched his wallet back from her, while Joey and Lance cracked up in the back seat. "Ya'll seem to forgett that I'M YOUR RIDE!" he huffed. "We could never forget that, J-man!" retorted Joey. "It's kinda hard, when our lives are flashing before our eyes!" Justin made a face, turned around to face the road, and didn't say anything for the rest of the ride. Sabrina turned around in her seat to face Joey. "You're good, man!" Joey grinned, winked at her, and replied "Thanks, babe." Sabrina rolled her eyes, turned to the front, and cranked the radio. The rest of the ride was pretty much uneventful. Sabrina used that time to sit back and analyze things. She had a bad habit of doing that. She always read into things too deeply, and it usualy created problems. But now, It was just thinking of ways that the guys had changed, and looking for the little quirks in their personalities that she had missed so much. Just the little things. Especialy the things that Lance did for her. Like leading her into a room with his hand in the small of her back. For some reason, thinking about it gave her the chills, and she didn't know why. Other things too, like how they found ways to touch her when they were talking to her. A hand on her arm, a pat on the hand and back, or grabbing her hand to pull her somewhere. She hadn't been back for more then a day, but they had picked up right where it left off, it seemed. They were as close and as open with her as the day she left. She liked it. That was what she was worried about in the back of her mind ever since Lance had called her to say that she had a seat on a flight down to Orlando. That their closeness wouldn't be there. But it was, and it set her mind a ease. Suddenly, she jerked forward hard. Looking around, she saw they were in Kissime, and Justin had just parked in the parking lot of the club. She had jerked, because Joey was getting impatient, as usual, and had kicked the back of her seat to get her out of the car, so he could go into the club, and "meet some fine chicks", as he put it. Sabrina whacked him on the arm. She hated to hear girls referred to as "chicks". Laughing, they entered the club. Just as Sabrina predicted, the bouncers at the door checked everyone's ID as they walked in. She turned to Justin and said "Aren't you glad now, that I made you go legal?" He rolled his eyes, handed his ID to the bouncer, and after it was handed back, walked into the club. |
