As I mentioned in the Locker room last night we, as a team, need to develop much more discipline and self-control during our hockey games. Self-control? What about the game on Sunday when you told the ref, "Bite Me, and Eff-you"? I've spoken with Bill, Rob, and Greg (Ref) and I've also seen some disturbing trends with the attitudes of "some" of the players. I have lost all respect in you now.
THIS MUST CHANGE IMMEDIATELY!
Here's Little Caesar's official rules regarding Game Misconducts -
6. Game Misconduct. A player or coach who receives a penalty requiring sitting out a game shall be suspended for at least his team's next league game. MAHA and USA rules apply to non-league games in addition to the LCAHL League suspension. This covers game misconduct, gross misconduct and match penalties. Any player, coach or manager who receives a Game Misconduct in LCAHL games must be reported to the Director of Division within 24 hours. Any player, Coach or Manager receiving multiple game misconducts in LCAHL games He/She shall set corresponding number of games in LCAHL games. Any Player, Coach or Manager who receives 3 game misconducts in a season shall come before the Discipline Committee for possible further action.
As a result of what I've seen and based on the severe lack of discipline the following behavior will no longer be tolerated.That's what you've been saying all year you hypocrite.
1) No "F" Bombs - Using this word will most likely get you a game misconduct from the referee. Amanda received (2) Game Misconducts last night and Renea received a Game Misconduct earlier this season for dropping the F-Bomb at the end of the game. ** If I or one of the other coaches hear it during a game you will be asked to leave the bench and may sit out the next game! This will be determined by the coaching staff ** This policy includes coaches.You're not cool when you use these ***. For your info, YOU were sitting in the bleachers because YOU said the F-word to the ref last game. How could YOU possible hear Amanda say the F-word? She said BULLSHIT. I don't hear the F-word in there. Hmm, nope I don't. If we hear YOU saying the f-word, can we sit you a game too?
2) Do not talk back to referee's especially if you've just been given a penalty and are going to or in the penalty box. You will not be helping yourself or the team by your bad behavior and if one of the coaches tells you to BE QUITE...BE QUITE! Be Quite what? Ohhh, you mean QUIET? Ahh, gotcha. Be QUITE about his lack of spelling! Failure to do so may see you sit the rest of the current game, at a minimum.You need to be QUITE too.
3) Slamming your stick or shooting of the puck after the whistle because you disagree with the call. Remember, yours or my approval of the referee's call is NOT RELEVANT! Focus on the game and leave your opinions for discussion AFTER the game. If you can't control yourself you will sit.You obviously couldn't control yourself, or you mouth the other game. I give you a detention PLUS your suspension that I prayed for.
4) Negative behavior on the bench. Negative, as in, "We're gonna lose"? This coaching staff will no longer tolerate annoying behavior in the locker room or on the bench. And we will no longer tolerate you either. When a coach is talking its very disrespectful of players to be interrupting. Well you give us 10 minute pep talks before PRACTICES. It is very disrespectful to do that. Stop talking, you're making yourself look like a moron. Be QUITE From now on I will not tell players to be quiteQUITE? Here we go again. in the locker room. The disrespectful player will be asked to leave the locker room, at a minimum. Players who disrupt others on the bench, during the game, will be asked to leave the bench for the rest of that game, at a minimum.We all hate you, who cares. Merry Christmas
I know I can't FORCE you to behave but I can hold you all accountable for your actions and I promise you, this I will do.We can't FORCE you to be QUITE, so we're even. We'll be accountable to duct taping your mouth shut. Now shut up again
Remember, the prime directive of this team is to develop you as players and a BIG part of that is helping you develop as individuals. This coaching staff You're not a coach. You're an over-rated-wanna-be coach who dresses in suits for a Tier 2 team. We're better off if you go away.is committed to doing just that and we MUST develop more discipline and self control.You should talk.
One of the team goals was to win states. HAHAHA, WIN? Win?!?! Us!?? Unless we, as a team, get our act together we will not be winning anything and that's a real shame since their is a lot of talent on this team. It's a shame that the talented players ended up with you as a "coach". The new team goal is to play disciplined hockey and I no longer will be focusing on any other team goal except getting this team's self control and mental toughness developed. Stop playing mind games with us, you suck at life. No go away, and stop bothering me.
As a result of last night's Game Misconducts Amanda and Renea will miss our next league game against Jackson on Jan 4th and Amanda will miss the game against the Ann Arbor Panthers on Jan 5th.
I will find out what the USA Hockey rules are concerning Mississauga and let everyone know as soon as possible.
In conclusion, based on working with you this season it's plainly obvious some of you have not been taught discipline or self control. At least WE don't cuss out the ref and tell him to BITE ME. Maybe we can teach you a little self-disipline?All I can say is you're missing out on the fun of this game and that truly is a shame. You truly are a sad, sad, man. Please remember that not only do you make yourself look foolish with this type of behavior you also really hurt and embarrass YOUR team. It hurts the team to see the coach cuss out a ref. Aren't you supposed to set an example for us?
