Ariella

Ariella had wanted to take belly dancing lessons ever since her father bought her mother a book on the art of belly dancing when she was 13. Finally, after many years, the time was right and she began searching the Internet for a teacher. She found Marcia, a wonderful dancer and Dancers of the Harem member, in August of 2004. She began her lessons with Marcia and practiced every chance she got. By that Christmas, she did her first show in a duet with another of Marcia’s students. A few months later, she had the honor of being asked to join Dancers of the Harem as an official member. Ariella enjoys creating her own choreographies to her favorite Latin music and her new favorite, high-energy Middle Eastern music. She loves being a member of the Troupe and enjoys watching all types of dancers and is always looking to expand her repertoire.
