Frequently Asked Questions:

Ques:  I have never danced before. Will I be able to cope with the dances taught?
Ans:    The beginner lessons are geared for first-time dancers.   You may be an absolute beginner, may never have danced before. No problem.  We will work with you till you get it.  After all, if you knew it all already, you wouldn't need to attend classes to learn, would you?  And you will be amazed at the results.

Ques:  What happens if I miss a lesson?
Ans:     Catching up on missed lessons is not a problem, since we revise each previously taught lesson at the beginning of the subsequent class.  Moreover, we have extra time slots available  to help people catch up on what they might have missed.  Just have a chat with us and we shall sort it out.

Ques:  If I miss a lesson after having pre-paid for a series of lessons, do I get a refund?
Ans:    If you miss a lesson, that is not a problem, as you can attend your prepaid lessons at any time through the period you have paid for, until the expiry date of the card.   You do, however, have to use up all your lessons before the expiry date.  After expiry, we are sorry, but you do lose your credit for the balance, as per administration rules beyond our control.  But there is a generous time before card expiry for you to attend different classes at your convenience.

Ques:  Do I need to bring a partner when I come for lessons?
Ans:    We dance individually with the students to help them get the moves, so bringing a partner is not necessary.  We also encourage students to dance around, so you may find yourself dancing with different people; hence you will not miss having your own partner.

Ques:  I would like to dance only with my own partner, and not have to dance with other people, nor share my partner round.  Is that possible?
Ans:    If that is what you want, you are welcome to hang on to your own partner.  We do tend to rotate partners, since it gives people a chance to try dancing with different people.  However, if your preference is to dance exclusively with your own partner, that will be perfectly fine.
