23.07.07-Hi there. I'm back to the what seems constant torrential downpour in London. I had 3 action-packed weeks back in California. Only got my hands on 2 burritos the whole time and never saw the ocean. That's just wrong. But there were plenty of weddings and birthdays and camping keeping me from her shores.
Norton Money plays our first of two summer festivals this weekend at the aptly titled Small Festival. We're going up to Edinburgh in a few weeks and I can't wait! We're keeping busy with plenty of live appearances throughout the rest of summer, and I should get on the horn to book some more for the fall.
The record shop Fopp closed down with our cds in it so that sucks. They were a very cool store so it's a shame. I kinda feel guilty for all the great albums I bought there for only �5. Our physical world retail presence is now currently only at Out On the Floor on Inverness Street in Camden in London. But feel free to buy our music on iTunes or our website store. Yes?
My other band Grace Solero is now sorting out the big pr blitz for a fall album release. We haven't quite pinned down this full-time, drug-free, un-alcoholic, unflaky, flexible-schedule-with-transport-and-own-gear and hygenic drummer but we have Daniele commuting back and forth from Rome when we need him for gigs. We're now booking gigs for the fall.
