Making money online

The internet is huge. And its got a whole lot of junk in it. So how do you get at what you want without all the fluff? Welll, search engines. Here's a list of search engines:
  • Yahoo ~ The largest and oldest search engine, and the best, in my opinion.
  • Altavista ~ A more automatic engine, more modern.
  • Directhit ~ A unique engine that rates site by their populatity
  • Excite ~ Another one
  • Infoseek ~ Yet another one

Ya just enter what you want into the search box, and hit search. Make it as specific as possible, though, or else you'll get a big list of sites that having nothing to do with what you want. For example, if I wanted info on Bolivia for a report, and I put in 'Bolivia', I'd get a few thousand pages, mostly with Bolivian businesses, Bolivian music, and such stuff. A lot better would be to put 'Bolivia report culture'.

Ask Jeeves is a cool new idea, where you enter a question, and the site searches all the other search engines for related sites to your question.
