Chat is one of the most popular pieces of the internet,
and one of the most fun You can meet the coolest, and weirdest people.
There are two basic types:
- Online messanging: The best of this type is ICQ.
You send messages that appear blinking down next to your clock until to
double click on them. You have to download the program, but its worth it.
- IRC: This is a multitude of real time chat rooms where you talk
to others. It is a bit primitive, and I find it annoying, but a lot of
people like it. You have to get a program like Mirc.
