President 1991-1992
I
joined the Rotary Club of Poblacion Tarlac District 3790 in 1986
as a Charter Member. For the past 17 years, I have served the
organization in my capacity as Director for Community Service,
Vocational Service, International Service and Youth Service. It
was during my first year with Rotary when I spearheaded the construction
of a Rotary "waiting shed" at the Tarlac plazuela fronting
the Historical Tarlac Cathedral. This has now become one of the
landmarks in the City of Tarlac. My stint as president of the
club gave me the privilege to recruit Mr. Bernabe Buscayno alias
“kumander Dante” or “ka Dante” to the
Rotary Club. I
was also a Philippine delegate to the Rotary International Convention
in Singapore in1999 and a member of the prestigious Paul Harris
Fellow.
Knights
of Columbus San Sebastian Council 3655
I
am now a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council
3655. This is the highest degree among knights. As my personal
service to the church, I have conceptualize the “Tomb
of the Unborn”. It is located within the grounds of
the San Sebastian Cathedral. Now, it is again one of the landmarks
in the city. My love and respect for life has inspired me to think
of this project. I wanted a constant reminder for people that
life is God's gift to us.
Spectrum
Communications – Sigma Tarlac
President 2000-2001
I
am well known for my call sign as “Silver Shadow”,
Numerics – S - 212 & DX3-DCA, I am a Senior Active Member
of Spectrum Communications Incorporated. I have served as Director
and ex-officio member of the organization for the past 14 years.
Our organization is involved in giving assistance to those in
distress in times of calamities and other Disasters. I became
President in 2000-2001and has passed the National Telecommunications
Commission for ‘class C” radio operator license examination.
I have attended a series of Traffic Management Seminars from DOTC,
Rescue Operations from PDCC, First Aid from PNRC, Fire and Rescue
operations from PNP.
Infant
Jesus Catholic Community Ministry Head
In 1992, I attended the Marriage Encounter, M.E. Class
#3 which was held at the Betania Retreat House in Baguio City.
Since then, I became very active with the Infant Jesus Catholic
Community or IJCC. I also served as Ministry Heads for the following
ministries, Biblia Rasal Minitry, Nurture Ministry & Youth
Ministry. Became Sheperd Couple for M.E. Class 9. At present,
I am an active member of the IJCC Caring Group Heads.
Tarlac
City Tourism Council
Vice-Chairman
In 1999, I
was appointed by former Tarlac City mayor Gelacio R. Manalang
as Auditor of the Tourism Council. Now, I was appointed as Vice
Chairman of the Council by incumbent Mayor Genaro M. Mendoza.
As a member of the City Tourism Council, I take a big role in
the maintenance and improvement of public parks, landmarks and
other places of interest within the city to make it more attractive
to both foreign tourist and investors. I have also actively participated
in various tourism seminars and workshops sponsored by the Dept.
of Tourism pertaining to eco-tourism not only in the city but
in the entire province as well.

Scouts of the Philippines
Provincial Executive Board
I joined the Boy Scouts of the Philippines in 1992 as Scout Director
of Tarlac Montessori School and attended a series of trainings
and seminars about scouting one of which is the Basic Training
Course or B.T.C. I participated in camping activities from the
backyard camping to Provincial Jamborette, Regional Jamborette
and National Jamborette. I was appointed as Contingent Head representing
the Province of Tarlac during the recent National Jamborette held
at Palo, Leyte in 2002. At present, I am now a member of the Council
Executive Board in the Province of Tarlac.
Tarlac
Montessori School
Founder and President
Since founded
1987, I held the position of School President up to present. My
stint as school president became instrumental in giving Tarlac
Montessori a high standard among educatioal institutions in the
Province of Tarlac. We have been a consistent TAPSA Champion for
five consecutive years. Included in the school's achievements
are academic excellence not only in the provincial and regional
levels but also in the national league.
Nonetheless,
the school conducts an annual outreach program to indigent families
of the different barangays in Tarlac in ccoperation with the Provincial
Social Welfare and Development. It also awards Scholarship Grants
to poor but deserving students.
With an advanced
educational system, Tarlac Montessori School offers courses from
pre-school to high school.
