Pauline and Todd Welcome You to Middle-earth a J.R.R.Tolkien site created by myself and Todd Waites. Still under construction, but well worth a visit, as new things are added regularly.  A long-standing, ongoing cross the Atlantic project between the two of us.

 

Middle-Earth Web Ring Have you got a web-site based on J.R.R. Tolkien's works?  Would you like to raise the number of hits your page gets?  Why not come and join Todd and I on the Middle-Earth Web Ring?  There are lots of LOTR webrings out there, some much bigger than ours, but, why get lost in the midst of a hundred other sites, with the chances of your site not being seen?  With a smaller ring like ours, you are more likely to get your site viewed by someone traversing the ring.  Follow this link for more details.

Clarksfield Junior School this is my local junior school.  The children have put a lot of work into their school website, and they are very proud of it.  Rightly so in my opinion.  They've got everything here.  There's a jukebox so you can listen to music whilst you browse their site, and you can even take their pet (Bob the goldfish),on trips with you. (Just be sure to send the pics of him on his travels back to the school, so the whole world can see where Bob has got to).

Liverpool F.C's Official Homepage.  This is the place to get match reports, team news, pics of players, past and present, and everything you ever wanted to know about Liverpool Football Club, the most successful  English football club in history.

This page is another good Liverpool Football Club page from a good  friend of mine on #liverpool who goes by the nickname Leon` on IRC. He hasn't had this page up and running for long, and he is still working on it, but already it is a great page for information about the club.  So, what ya' waitin' fer? Go and visit Leon's Page I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Palantir is the site that I eventually found the full version of the piece of prose "For the Fallen" which I used on my "A Soldier of World War One" page.  The page belongs to Ian, and this link is by way of thank you to him for letting me use it.  He's got a good, fun page here.

NASCAR A newly found interest for me.  It isn't shown half as much as it should be on British television, but, real audio links are in place on this site whenever a big race is on, courtesy of MRN sportscast. Also full positions of drivers are given throughout the race via automatic refreshing of the page every 60 seconds.  I'd just like to say that I hope Mark Martin  (my favourite driver) does very well this season. 

 

 

A great page for downloading utilities, shareware, freeware etc., If it isn't on the Tucows  page, then it isn't worth having!   Tons of stuff for you to download.

 

 

Mega Web Tools is the place to gather all the cool stuff you need to build your web-page.   Lots and lots of gifs. backgrounds etc., Everything you could ever possibly want.  

 

 

PC Magazine Online This is a great site to read before you buy.  Lots of software/hardware reviews and reports.   This site is also connected to ZDNet where you can find lots and lots of downloads of all sorts of utilities.
