I’m the one who loves basketball. My favorite team is the Boston Celtics. I went to Boston to watch them play the Minnesota Timberwolves. Before the game I found out that my favorite player, Kyrie Irving, had an injury and wouldn’t be paying in the game. I was frustrated that I wouldn’t see my favorite player play in person, but I was pleased that I would still get the experience of going to the game. I entered TD Garden at about 6 pm. When I got inside I went to go get a delicious slice of pepperoni pizza and a Sprite. When I got to my seat the players started to come out of the locker room for warm ups. When they were warming up I was close enough to take a good picture of Gordon Hayward. When they were ready to play, the arena was very loud. People were chanting “Let’s go, Celtics!”, and yelling until the game started. As soon as the game started the arena became so silent that you could hear the player shoes squeaking. The Celtics took an early lead in the first quarter. Then in the second quarter the Timberwolves started to come back, and the arena got louder trying to hype up the players. At the end of the half I went to the Celtics team store, and bought a green and gold Kyrie Irving jersey. When the third quarter started Gordon Hayward started to heat up. It felt like he scored all of the points in the quarter and the Celtics had a big lead. And then I started to get tired. I was trying my hardest to keep my eyes open but I just couldn’t. The sound of the buzzer woke me up at the end of the third quarter. The rest of the game felt like it was about an hour because the teams were scoring back in forth, and it was boring. After the game everyone began to rush out of the building into the freezing Boston air.
