Grandma Mollo
Gram raised us during parts of the summers where we would vacation at her house in Stamford, Connecticut. Just 20 minutes down the road from Westport, grams house was like a resort to us.

Grandpa owned a convenience store and would come home with bags of m&m's and all kinds of candy for us as well asTiger Beat magazine. These were highlights!

Gram would play double solitare spit (cards) with us until it was time for bed, with no complaints; made her famous chicken noodle soup that we ate about 6 times a day; and let us play hopscotch in her back yard while using her flowered soap from the bathroom to draw our lines with. When the icecream truck would come, she poured out all her money out of her bag so we could all get what we wanted.

Gram lived to age 93 and she still had all her marbles. You couldn't pull a thing over her, she was sharp as a knife.

Some things that parallel her traits and mine are: we both don't like flowers or the smell of them; most things in life are black and white; there's an explaination for everything; always wants a straight answer; no clutter; favorite ice cream is pralines and cream;

Some funny traits of gram were that we weren't allowed to go near her stove or clean her dishes as no one could get them as clean as her.
