1. Beatles Icons (Size 12.7 kb)

Here is a collection of beatles icons, collected from a fan site. Hope you will enjoy it!

2. Midi Collection

Who said midi days are outnumbered? The best thing about midis is that they are very small in size and they have no complicacies regarding copyright and piracy. Fans voluntarily create and distribute midis of their favorite songs. I could not acknowledge all the authors, because I've collected the files from different web sites, from time to time. Do express your gratitude towards these talented musicians.

Midi Collection 1 (Size 665 Kb)

Midi Collection 2 (Size 570 Kb)

3. MP3 Songs

Due to copyright issues, and our reluctance, we will not provide Mp3 files of beatles songs over here. However, we have some songs which are somehow related to beatles. Here they are:

Magentalane- Klaatu

(Format: Mp3 Pro,  Bit Rate: 32, File Size: 649 Kb)

Note: This file will play on the latest versions of Winamp (2.6 and above), Music Match Jukebox (7 and onwards)

Klaatu is a band, which sounds pretty much like the beatles. There was even a rumor that the members of the beatles were actually the members of Klaatu. In some songs, the vocalists sound pretty much like John and Paul. Although the band is no more, their albums are still available.  Bulls Eye Records (owned by (Jaimie Vernon) currentl holds the copyright to all Klaatu related stuff, their albums, records, CDs, etc. You can get Klaatu stuff from Bulls Eye Records's website:

http://www.bullseyecanada.com

You can get all sorts of info regarding Klaatu, from this site. Breaking News: a new "Boxed Set" of Klaatu albums is coming out, soon.

Listen to this song, and buy their albums. If you're a beatlefan, you'll like them.

Feet Don't Fail Me- Utopia

(Format: Mp3 Pro,  Bit Rate: 32, File Size: 746 Kb)

Now this one is a real collector's item. The band Utopia is synonimous with the name Todd Rundgren. The now classic band started as a pop rock band, and their first album "Adventures In Utopia" is quite reminiscent of the particular musical style we all cherish, the beatle beat. Todd Rundgren, the band leader, attracted a sizeable fan following through his unique style and talent. However, they drove away many of the fans after releasing the album "Deface The Music". It was a point of realization for Utopia. This album was a mockery of the Beatles album 1962-70. Each song mocks a song from the beatle album. Todd realized that many of their fans were actually beatle fans. Maybe that's why they changed their style, and became more of a progressive rock band. Long tracks like The Ikon (30:25) and Freak Parade (10:15) shows the departure. This song is from the 1982 album "Utopia". This album is probably not available anymore. I downloaded the song via Audiogalaxy.

Cigarettes and Chocolate Milk

(Format: Mp3 Pro, Bitrate: 32 kbps, File Size: 937 Kb)

Rufus Wainwright is a rather recent artist, compared to Klaatu or Utopia. He was named best young artist of the year in 2002. He sang in the John Lennon memorial concert last year, with Sean Lennon, John's younger son. His music is deeply influenced by the Beatles and Sean. Here's one of his best songs.
