I became a Beatle fan in the 60's when I  was very young. I really loved their sound and image. I first heard
Help and then the rest of the albums closely followed.
I love all of the albums, they all have a special place in my heart and mind. The
represent so many pleasant memories.
I still have some of the things (extras-pics etc,..) that came included with the albums. I like The White
Album, Abbey Road and Rubber Soul -if I were to try and pick the top three. Some songs that I really enjoy
are, Ballad Of John and Yoko, Things We Said Today, In
My LIfe, Strawberry Fields, Dear Prudence, Rocky
Raccoon, Blackbird, Something, The whole second side of
Abbey Road!, among many many others,....
Least fave songs are: Number 9 (do I
really have to explain this one?!), Yesterday (burned out on that one
- overplayed), Let It Be (same reason), Hey Jude ( same reason as well).

I think that the Beatles are timeless
and will live on
forever. They are constantly getting
new fans - even
today. That attributes to their
excellence. They
defined music in so many ways when they
were together,
as they still do today.
They didn't invent rock -n- roll, they
perfected it!
Many artists still refer to the Beatles
as one of their
biggest influences.

recommend to a beatlefan?

The Vinyl
Kings, Badfinger,
hmmmmmmmmm I like so many kinds of
music, it can really
get quite extensive!

No, just sing a little,...... good
enough to
*not* make dogs howl. ;o)

purpose of #Beatles? What should it be?
What should we do to serve the fans? It
should be an
all around meeting place for people who
dig the Beatles
regarding their impact and existence in
the world of
music. It should also be an open forum
for any type of
conversation (preferably non
controversial and
offensive) that is hopefully friendly as
well as
cerebral.

It has been pretty dead and
non-eventful
lately, but all the regulars (ops) are
pretty cool,
otherwise they wouldn't be there!
