The Dallas County Democratic Party received this from a long-time Sustaining Member after the 2000 election was overturned by the Supreme Court: "One of the ways I have decided I can channel my outrage about the recent election theft is to up my Sustaining Membership contribution to the Dallas County Democratic Party. I am currently contributing $10.00 per month on a bank draft system. I would like to up this to $20.00 per month."

To recruit, train, and help Democrats WIN elections a party office need to be open year-round. Help work for a better world by joining at the highest level you can.

The DCDP doesn't get money from the national or state parties. Sustaining Members provide the basic support needed to pay our overhead and keep the office operating with volunteers. Fostering Members and Finance Council Members make it possible to hire full-time staff, expand operations, build the party, and grow to take back control of Dallas County!

All members get subscriptions to our newsletter and invitations to DCDP and other Democratic events. Sustaining Members also get discounts to DCDP programs, Fostering Members get a free admission, and Finance Council Members get more than one. Finance Council Members also get to attend Finance Council Luncheons and other special events, and have their names (or organizations) listed on invitations and programs for our events.

Finance Council Members may either give or raise the amounts shown. Corporations and labor unions can pay membership fees if the funds are used only for administrative expenses.

Your contribution may be used in connection with federal elections and is subject to federal contribution prohibitions and limitations. Non-federal contributions are allowed and will be accepted in accordance with state law. Contributions are not tax deductible.

Federal law requires political committees to report the name, mailing address, occupation, and employer for each individual whose contributions aggregate in excess of $200 in a calendar year.
