Dogs Gone 2
Arkon Hickory Bud
7-4-84 -  3-12-97

Bud and his brother, Lucky, were rescued from the Coshocton County Animal Shelter in 1987.  He was the Bud-Dog and the Spud-Bud.  He won his share of awards at the fun matches, but time got away from us before he was ready for a CD title.  An ILP number was as close as we came, but he was a real winner in the personality department!  What a sweetie!
Little Rocks' Wild Fire Ardara CD
6-25-81 - 10-27-95

Gunner came from a show kennel and became part of our family when we lived in Michigan, where we rescued him from the Barry County animal shelter.  He was eleven years old when he earned his CD title, due to a lost transfer slip, then a lost title, and a few other glitches.  But, hey, we did it!  And in three trials, too!  We finished at the Crown Classic in Cleveland.  Gunner was a great demo dog at ABC, demonstrating stand-for-exam and down-stay.  He was a hit at nursing homes, too, where we went with the Tuscarawas Valley Kennel Club.
Duke of Jeromesville
9-14-87 -  8-1-96

Duker-dog joined the family in l989, and was a dream to train.  He was quite a character, and a pretty good demo dog at the school.  Duker went to matches and won ribbons, but mostly he just hung out with Gunner, and got big smooches.  Life ended quite suddenly and unexpectedly for him at the tender age of nine, when his heart gave out.
Sissy
1986 - 4-7-00

Sissy was the smallest dog at ABC, weighing in at a mere 10 lbs.  She was a perky little Pekapoo who loved to play ball.  She'd entertain herself for hours by dropping a ball on the deck and running down the steps in time to catch it as it rolled off the edge!
