HELP THESE DOGS

5-30-09  The lovely pens.  Red Pup stranded on his nonshelter at right.  Left center is Brownie standing over Grey Girl.  An excess of foot traffic on the road today, with dogs going berserk, RPM getting loose, Red Pup caught on his fence, and Brownie aspiring to be head honcho.
5-30-09  Red Dog's world.  While all heck is breaking loose in the front yard, Red Dog is tethered and isolated in this small pen in the back yard, surrounded by foilage about three feet high.  If he's still wearing his amazing and hazardous neckwear, I wonder what condition his neck is in by now (collar AND halter wrapped around it.  See photo on a previous page.)  How can anyone tell if he needs help?  This is a dog who is suffering silently.
6-03-09  We're having a rainy week, and Red Pup is still stranded on top of his nonshelter.  The next day, he gets loose.  I find him and his owner in my back yard, as she tries to round him up.  He ends up back on his nonshelter.  I see him there again the following day with about one foot of tether caught or tied to the fence.  This situation began on 5/30, or before, and lasted until late on 6/6.  Is this not animal cruelty?
6-11-09  Raining again.  Yellow male has got out of pen again, and here he is, trying to find a dry bed.
6-18-09  Red Pup's world.  Here is his nonshelter, the wood frame with pieces of this and that leaning against it, and on top for a "roof."  This ceases to give even the illusion of shelter.  No sign of Red Pup.  Probably running loose again.
6-18-09  Another shot of Red Dog's digs.
6-18-09  Yellow male out in the rain again.  Owner doesn't know how to fix this problem, or doesn't care, or doesn't have the intelligence to recognize that there is a problem.  Remember, this is the woman who tied puppies to fences in her back yard and left them there all winter WITH NO SHELTER AT ALL.  And this was one of them.

6-29-2009  RPM and Red Pup fighting; Tip and Grey Girl putting in their two cents.  This fight went on and on, instigated by a neighbor walking by on the road.  With Bro, there were five dogs at large.  In the end, Red Pup was the bloody one.
