| VIOLE'S STATS Age: Somewhere between 15-17 Earth years Height: 5'6" (about 174 cm, correct me if I'm wrong.) Weight: 147 lb (or 66 kg...that looks wrong, but I'm not a conversion machine. I can't remember everything...) Hair: Brown Eyes: Green? ((Pardon me my colour-blindness)) Distinguishing features: He's got a ponytail that hangs about halfway down his back, tied with a ribbon at the base of his neck. He's got SUCH pretty hair. I'd kill for hair like that. Appearances: Epsiode 3 (The Gallant Swordsman), Episode 6 (City of Intrigue). His third and fourth appearances are here, seeing as how they are spoilers. |
| I've also heard recently that the person I just described (and the person in the pic that's everywhere) isn't actually Viole, but it's Ryuon. Ryuon was basically the communications specialist for the DragonSlayers in the movie Escaflowne: Girl in Gaea. He's the one shown here. Granted, I can see some similarities in the way they look. But that just doesn't click with me for some reason. Ryuon is never mentioned in the series at all, he's only in the movie, and Viole's name is called out by Dilandau when the DragonSlayers are all dead. Since the guy in the picture is the only DragonSlayer we get a really good look at WITHOUT a name, it just makes reasonable sense. E-mail me and tell me what you think! Minor update and unimportant fact unless you're a Ryuon fan... Ryuon is in the series. He is one of those blink-and-you-miss-it random people in Episode 15, during the "experience" Hitomi is having looking for Van. | There are very few people out there that recognize Viole when they see him, if they know he exists at all. I don't know, maybe you're one of them. Well, I'm going to make an attempt to change all that with this site. Viole is first shown in the Vione, as the DragonSlayers who were at Fanelia await their punishment for damaging Alseides units. He was also shown on the bridge in Pallas, talking with Migel. The rest of the information known about him is few and far between, but this is what I have so far... |
