They migrated to Juda, Jefferson Twp., Green Co., WI in 1854. In 1870 they were living in Juda,  where Samuel was produce dealer, with Crist Caplein 29, a laborer b. in PRU was in the household. By 1880, they had moved to Worth Co., MO, where Samuel was a Justice of Peace in Grant City. Samuel's Sister, Eliza, who had lived next door to them in Juda, WI, was no living with them in MO. Samuel and Sons received a merchant licenses in Grant City 1881 to 1185. Samuel appears on the tax records in Fletchall Twp., in 1890.They are buried in Grant City Cem., Fletchall Twp., Worth Co.
