1016-Benjamin WALLINGFORD, b. 27 Jun 1678, MA, s/o Nicholas and Sarah (TRAVIS) WALLINGFORD, m. c1702/3, prob. Prince George's Co., MD, (1017) Elizabeth BROWN, b. prob. Prince George's Co., d/o John BROWN, d. c1741. Benjamin WALLINGFORD probably came to Maryland around 1700 and apparently was the only child of Nicholas to leave the MA area. WILL (FH39, MDB20, MDPGB1, POL H 628, US10) Children:

1016.1-John WALLINGFORD, will 9 Mar 1761, Prince George's Co., MD, names James Jr., nephew and s/o James WALLINGFORD. John remained in VA, sired VA/AL Branch. (FH39, POL H 628)

1016.2-Nicholas WALLINGFORD b. 22 Aug 1703. His widow, a Tory, migrated to Canada. (FH39, POL H 628)

1016.4-Elizabeth WALLINGFORD, b. 2 Jan 1708/09, m. a DOVE. May have remained in MD. (FH39, POL H 628)

1016.5-Sarah WALLINGFORD, b. 22 Oct 1714, m. a BRASSHEARS. May have remained in MD. (FH39, POL H 628)

1016.6-James WALLINGFORD, b. 29 May 1717, m. Mary ____?. He was residing in Anne Arundel Co., MD at the time of his death. It is known that he had one son and possibly a daughter. In 1776, he sold land in Prince George's Co., MD, witnessed by Benjamin and Thomas Harwood. His son James served in the Revolution. from Anne Arundel Co., MD.
