508 Benjamin WALLINGFORD, b. 6 May 1706, Prince George's Co., MD, s/o Benjamin and Elizabeth (BROWN) WALLINGFORD, m. (509) Mary (Matilda) GINN. The compiler believes that Benjamin WALLINGFORD left Prince George's Co., MD, probably in the 1750s or before and settled in another area prior to settlement in Berkeley Co., VA. He could have been there earlier, but his first appearance there is in the 1782-87 tax list 1 pole 0 slaves. In 1800 Berkeley Co., VA, taxed 1 pole, 4 horses. In 1810, his widow Margaret has 1 female 10 and under 16 residing with her in Jefferson Co., VA. There is no record to prove who this child might be. WILL (WVB1, WBEB1, WVBE11, WVJEB21)
