486-Henrich SINN, b. ___?, GER, d. bet. 7 Mar/7 Apr 1770, Frederick Co., MD, m. (487) Anna Katharina ____?. Heinrich SINN came from Germany, to the Americas on board the Johnson Galley, a pink, registered in London, sailed from Rotterdam, last from Deal in England. He arrived in Philadelphia on 17 Sep 1732, with his wife Anna Katharina and a daughter Anna. Heinrich and family probably came to Frederick Co., MD, between 1736 and 1739, determined from the record of the baptism of his first three children born in America. Two baptized in Lancaster, PA, the next child in Frederick Co., on the Monocacy. His land was called Loom, a 125 acre triangle  between Caspar Myers and Henry Brunner. He received title to the land from Daniel Dulaney on 28 Jul 1746. This land was located in the Tasker's Chance plot on the Monocacy River, first surveyed 15 Apr 1725. He bought a horse from Susan Apple in Frederick Co. for the sum of 5 pcm?, described as 'one young fray horse'.  Henrich served 42 days in Capt. Stephen Ransberger's Company, as shown in the Muster Rolls of 1757. He was naturalized 10 Oct 1861 at a session of the court, held in Frederick, Frederick Co., Aug 1749. He was a contributor to the Monocacy Lutheran Church in 1721 and 1744, and a communicate on Easter 1759 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick, and he and his wife Anna Katharina sponsored several chiildren at their baptisms in 1747 and 1759. Susanna BECKENBACH was confirmed at Evangelical Reformed Church in Frederick on 20 Apr 1753. She and Caspar were also active in Christ Reformed in Middletown, where they were members in 1775, and where Susannah was confirmed by Pastor Henop on the 27 Apr 1782, and received communion. Philip was confirmed on 11 Apr 1754, and a communicant on 8 Oct 1758, 22 Jun 1760, and Easter 1784. he was subjected to Christian Discipline on 10 May 1775. They sponsored numerous baptisms from 1772 to 1797 (See the placement list in the research notes below). The Zimmerman children were probably nephews and nieces of Elisabeth. In the 1850 census of Frederick Co., there is a Mary PALMER, age 69, living with David HOUCK, 46, a butcher in Frederick; wife Mary 34, and children Margaret  A.C. 10, John W. 9, David E. 6, Charles H. 2, and Mary E. 486.5-Jacob Mattheis SINN, b. c1739, bpt. 17 Jun 1739, d. 6 Dec 1808, Frederick Co., MD, m. 2 Nov 1766, Frederick co., MD, Philippina KARNES. There is a marriage in Vol. 10,  p103, Maryland German Church Records of a Jacob SINN to Maria Magdalena BIBER, on 31 Oct 1756. Jacob would have been 16 or 17 years of age, and may have at a young age married prior to his marriage to Philippina ____?, the mother of  his children in 1768 and 1771. Jacob witnessed the will of Angel Morningstar, on 30 Dec 1788. Jacob is buried Mt. Olivet, Frederick, Frederick Co. (MDB6Vol. 13 p74, MDFR17, MDFRB2, 8, 24) Children:

486.6-Maria Catharina SINN, b. 1 Jan 1741, d. 28 ___ 1802, age 60y 1m 26d, m. 1762, Baltzer (Balthasar) FAUTH (FAUD, FOUT). Records for Balthasar and Catharine FOUT are found in both the Monocacy Lutheran and Evangelical Lutheran congregations. On 3 May 1772, Balthasar was nominated deacon from thecounty, as opposed to a deacon from the town, and he retired from this position in 1776. 486.7-Maria Barbel (Barbara) SINN, b. 16 Nov 1743, m. Andreas MICHEL or MICHAEL. Andreas and Maria Barbara were active in Christ Reformed church in Middletown, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick. Andreas was a home elder on 1 May 1788, and his wife a communicant on 27 Apr 1782. They sponsored the baptism of numerous children during the period 1770 to 1795 (See the placement list in the research notes below).
