Georg was from Meckennheim, Neustadt on the Haardt Mountains of Germany. He
arrived in America at the port of Philadelphia, 26 Sep 1732 on ship
'Mary', John Gray, Master, from Rotterdam, last from Cowes. He took the Oaths of
Allegiance and fidelity at Philadelphia. Catharina GRAF was from Lichtenberg
near Landau or Zabern, Alsace, Germany, and came to America with her husband.
He first settled in Germany Twp., York Co.,PA, survey of 185 acres of land on 10
Sep 1750. on 23 Apr 1753, Catharina was witness to the baptism of John George
Koch s/o Joh. Adam Kock and wife in PA. On 17 Apr 1857, Catherina sponsored Eva
Catharina d/o Abraham and Barbara Lingamfelter in Frederick Co., MD. Records of this couple are in Conewego (now Littletown) Adams Co., PA, between
1746 and 1763. They are listed as sponsors at the baptism of a daughter of
George FROSCHAUER and wife Magdalena. The list of those believed to be his
