9/1- Okay!  I would like to celebrate the first day of September by...Wait a second?  Who in their right mind celebrates the 1st of September?  Oh nevermind.  There are 2 new pictures in the photo gallery is what I was going to say.  And I fixed the one for the cartoon band picture.  Our next show is on the 8th of September at Beans and Leaves in Flint; e-mail for directions.  We outie!

8/28- Today, I added a links section, where one can find out about bands that I really like.  That's all I really had to say.  Umm...bye.

8/26- THUD!  That is the sound of the Colander page being updated once again.  Hi everyone!  Good to see ya!  We're back in school; we've played a few
shows over the summer, and we have a new song (Strike 3) in the mp3 section.  Let's hope it works, as it is of yet untested mettle.  And I replaced our original bio with one that Jared wrote a while back.  Be sure and check the shows section for upcoming concerts.  Make mine a double!

7/2- Owosso will never be rid of me!!!  I returned once more.  There was much practicing and much rejoicing.  We did some recording with the most excellent Andy Zuker, laying down two songs, including the previously mentioned new song, "City Of."  Someday soon, they will be finding their way to this website.  They will also later end up on a full length album, which we will hopefully resume recording shortly.  I'd also really like to plug our gig at the Flint Local 432 on 510 South Saginaw street next door to the Metropolis..  Umm...It's in Flint.  It starts at 7.  It's all ages.  Please go.  And Fil got new drums.  Rogge got new shoes.  Chris got new hair.  And I got a new shirt.  With Ranma.  Mmmm....

6/20- Well, we have an upcoming show.  It is July 8, at The Local in Flint.  As far as I know, it is an all ages show and starts at 7.  For additional information, please e-mail us.  Come out and support the band!  Well, it's a ways for Caledonia people, so I'll understand if you guys don't show, but anyone who wants to come and rock out is more than welcome to!
11/14- Why am I so damn sexy?  Um...Sorry.  Didn't know this thing was on.  Big news- We're playing in Davis Hall on the 17th and Eldridge on the 18th.  Also at Harvey's on the 29th.  In other big fat news, the Ruthyscolander site is no longer up; it just leads back here.  So I'm taking the link off, to make it so I didn't have a link to my own site, which would be gay.  Well, if you want directions to Western's campus to check out either of our two on-campus shows, get 'em here.  Peace and carrots.

10/26- I actually updated the page two days ago, but it kicked me off, and I just said "intercourse it" and went to bed.  I will try to get a bio section going.  It won't be as cool as the one at the other Colander site that doesn't have any info.  It's depressing; I tried for almost an hour trying to get that little "click on a member" thing to work on an inferior photo editor and web program.  But let's talk about what I HAVE done instead.  I have put the mp3 for "City Of..." up.  I have put our only concrete show (on the 29th of November) in the shows section.  And I put a new picture in the photo gallery.  It's...um...funny.  No it isn't, but you've just gotta squeeze all the charmin you can when Mr. Whipple's not around.  You know?

9/25- We have directions for the show in Muskegeon.  If by some strange occurance you were left off of the gargantuan lists mailed out by both Jared and myself, you can find 'em
here. There's not much more news to report, actually.  Jared and I have been writing some new songs, but apart from a brief message from Svengali I haven't seen Chris or Fil in about two weeks.
9/18- We did another show in Flint, once again at the Local.  The sound for this show was excellent, and we played very well.  A bunch of fellow Westerners came out to enjoy the rock, and the rock was good and hopefully quite enjoyable.  Okay, that last sentence DOES make sense, so I can continue.  I added an FAQ section today, just for fun.  If you have any questions you'd like to see answered, send them here.  We've got some new songs in the works, bursting to explode like a keg of cranky dynamite.  Nee you sext time!

9/11- We played another show in Flint, at Beans and Leaves.  Our impromptu PA was a bit less than stellar, but it was a very tight performance from an instrumental perspective.  It was also my first exposure to the rockin' sounds of the Terranauts, and I must say I was not disappointed.  I was so impressed that I added them to our
links section.  The true mark of rock-stardom.  However,of paramount importance is our show at the Local 432 on Friday, also in Flint.  As soon as I find out the time I'll post it here.  Cha!

9/5- We practiced in Caledonia again, aided equiptment-wise by the wonderful Mario Bourzac.  Practices may become few and far between with school going, but we'll do our best.  In site news, there's one more picture in the photo gallery, 'tis the picture that graces the front of the site, only enlarged to show texture.
