The Story of our Tiranga retold through Indian Stamps

Tomorrow August 15, 2008. The Indian National Flag will be unfurled again for the 54th time. The Indian Tricolour or Tiranga will flutter in the breeze and light drizzle looking down at the proud Indians looking up at her, the symbol of Indian Independence. She will look at the children laughing gaily, running free like the butterflies they are chasing, shivering in the cold, seemingly asking "Little children do you know the cost at which you have this Independence?" Flag on Red Fort -
First Stamp of Independent India Tomorrow again the beloved flag will weep, wet in the drizzle, looking down on the sorry state of India where violence, terrorism and indiscriminate killing have become the order of the day. She will weep the fate of Indian who have lost the meaning of Independence and sell India and her pride to foreign nations in a mere game of cricket for money.
Bhagat Singh She will weep at the fate of India, made Independent from foreign rule by the blood of freedom fighters like Bhaghat Singh and Chandrashekar Azad. "What has this world come to today", she will sigh and recall the story of her birth and the pains before, as presented here through Indian Postage Stamps. Chandrashekar Azad
