Ouverture’s Doris Day, "Daisy", 11.11.1992-26.12.2004. "Daisy" was my first dog, she was born 11.11.1992. Daisy was a Blenheim girl with great dignity. She was my little darlin’, but unfortunately left this world, and her doting 'mum' at only twelwe years of age. I got her when I was nine, she was one out of six puppies. I was really looking for a tricolor, but it was love at first sight. She chose me, and I chose her. That was the best choice I’ve ever made. She was everything I wished for, and more! I was nine years old when she came home. She was eight weeks. I had bought her a lovely basket to sleep in, bones and bright coloured tennisballs to chew and play with. She ignored the toys, chewed the basket and slept in the bed. (Who’s in charge?) She grew up to become a real lady. We took courses together, we trained agility and obedience. We never got to compete, though...She did all the obsticles, but in her own time. We also started doing blood tracks when she was nine. She found the end of the track and the moose-leg, but where is the cow?(ox-blood was used) She kept looking for it, if there would have been one, she would have found it!:) Daisy started up as a “showdog”, but she never enjoyed it, so was soon "retired" from that activity, until I took her with me to a show when she was seven, for a “junior handler” to borrow. She was “on high” for weeks! She loved it! After that she would complain LOUDLY, if she couldn't come when we went for a show. Daisy has many children and grandchildren, some often seen at shows in Sweden. Now, I have to be without my “blossom”, Daisy! My sweet Daisy! I miss you. The memories of all our games and cuddles makes it a little easier to to bear the pain. I bet you get alot of snow in heaven! Good Luck, treasure, and be nice with Millan! And don't forget to meet me when I come!>
