The Ambulances
Harley Street Ambulance Service Ltd only use vehicles that adhere
to strict ATAG guidelines. This means greater comfort and safety for our
patients.
All vehicles are purchased and maintained through Fraikin Limited.
If in the unlikely event of a mechanical breakdown we have priority assistance.
All vehicles are renewed every three to four years.
All our new vehicles have:
- Air Suspension
- Tail Lifts
- Wheel Ramps
- Winches and Trolleys - This enables easy movement and transportation of Bariactric patients ie: Patients over 20 stone (280 pounds)/upto 50 inch waist (127 cms).
The Equipment
Harley Street Ambulance Service Ltd ambulances are all fully equipped. There is bi-annual servicing of all major pieces of equipment, along with a policy of constant upgrading.
All the ambulances are ITU and A & E equipped, Datex-Ohmeda & Pro Paq monitoring systems, Dragar ventilators, Ferno Baby Pod Incubator, Babypac ventilators and Heart Start FR2+ defibrillators which include ECG monitoring.
Both 12V and 240V mains are onboard, allowing use of hospitals' specialist equipment.
