The making of Venus Goat Milk Soap came about from an over abundance of milk from my Nubians.

I had a great teacher, Susy Carpenter, she makes great soap and gives classes here locally.

My boys were teenagers when I started making soap and of course my family were the testers! The boys were very skeptical at first. They had to use it if there was no other soap in the house. They LOVED IT! I even created a scent just for them. It is called ADONIS, made to have that sporty scent young men like.

I make each batch of soap in my soap room built right in the loft of the barn. This is where the goat milk is refrigerated immediately after milking. Venus goat milk soap is put into molds and then the bars are hand-cut. The consumer may notice differences between bars and batches this is what makes hand made goat milk soap unique. My soaps are made from the finest fresh, high butterfat, goat milk available, along with high quality vegetable oils. I do not use artificial dyes or perfumes. Venus Goat Milk Soap is Scented with natural essential oils. No artificial colors or scents are used. I sincerely know you enjoy the mild, gentle, luxurious moisture of my goat milk soap!
