Ruthless Li attacks Xie
EVANSTON, Ill. (AP)__ Perhaps thinking that he has already defeated Andrew Kim for the Boba Party nomination, Li has already begun to attack candidates of other parties.
In a discussion with Crepe Diem V.P. candidate Joyce Lee, Li was overheard calling
ICFF candidate Ke Xie a "Kentucky Fried Fob" and "one of those country bumpkins".
Xie, a native of Kentucky, has been hitting the campaign trail hard this week and could not be reached for comment.
When confronted with the issue, Li retracted his statement.
"I didn't mean it," he said. "It's a term of endearment."

Daily 1835 Analysis: Boba Primary Preview

WIth voters going to their electronic voting booths in now less than three days, there is still much up in the air.
Mudslinging Newton Li and Spritual Andrew Kim are going down to the wire, matching each other endorsement-for-endorsement.
Even with Kim gone in the nation's capital until the eve of the primary, it figures to be a very tight race, with 150-200 votes expected to be cast on February 9. (rules are below)
"I still don't know who I'm going to vote for," an anonymous Boba Party member said late Thursday night. "I have five screen names that I can use. I may end up using 3 for one candidate and the other 2 for the other."
Many voters are planning to distribute their votes in some way, and those who vote are probably going to vote at least twice.
Another factor that is still up in the air is the non-NU vote.  Li has discussed the possibility of bringing his hometown firiends in Houston to vote for him, while Kim has pledged to have his Chicagoland-area friends vote.
Meanwhile, at Northwestern, things are very much divided. Kim seems to have the freshmen and sophomores locked up while Li has a tight hold on most of the upperclassmen.
The winner receives $25 towards their campaign's Dance Marathon fund.
Meanwhile, William Ethridge, Rebecca Tsang, Nicholas Collins and Ke Xie all await to devour the winner, as whoever emerges from this close race will liekly be burnt out and tired.
"I'm burnt out already," said Li. "But i can keep it going."
  His supporters agree.
"Newton is going all the way," campaign aide William Yoon said. "And you can take that to the bank."
