Count 'em up: 6 blue bottles, 2 yellow. Looks like we're filling blue.

So we fill them up. This leaves us with 2 yellow, 2 green. Let's see what we get.
Other bottles gave us 2 extra yellow (totalling 4) and 3 blues. We fill in yellows. Notice the 4 green bottles we're destroying in this fill, underlined in red.
Finally, we only need one more. We have one yellow, so let's use that, and destroy the rest :) We're done in 3 fills.
Here we start midway through a game with half the bottles filled.

Filling the 4 reds and destroying the purple would give us 9 bottles, leaving us with 1 more. Since we only need 1 more, let's also destroy 1 of the blues (underlined in yellow), and keep the other blue (underlined in green). Really, we could have destroyed them all, but we played it safe.

1 red, 2 purples, and 2 blues with 1 to go. Fill them all with red :) Kaboom!! 9 bottles destroyed, yet we still finish!
