+Family+

Okay, here we have family trees...kind of. Get ready. The families are actually a little bit important, for it explains the characters and helps you empathize and understand them. A lot of their problems or reasoning comes from family incidents, almost scarred them for life, the poor things. Don't worry, not all of their families are messed up...

+Yagami Family+

Taichi's family consists of his mom, dad (anyone have a picture?), Hikari, and their kitty Miko >^_^< There are no real flaws in Taichi's family...Well, actually Taichi is the flaw. He was traumatized when he made little Hikari sick and she had to go to the hospital. Very upsetting for a little child u_u Since then, Taichi is always looking out for Hikari, dreading that something like that will happen again.

+Ishida/Takaishi Family+

Poor Yama, most of his angst was caused by family problems. When he was little, he was all happy and bubbly ^_^ Then his parents split up and he was taken away from his mommeh and his little brother Takeru. Since then he's lived with his dad, the poor thing. From what I see, his dad is too busy to pay attention to Yama and wakes him up with his foot o_O; I always thought that was weird. In any case, poor Yamato is left with a broken up family, giving him angst after being such a happy little camper.

+Takenouchi Family+

Sora's family is simple, for...there is only her mom and her. I don't know her mommy's name, all I know is she is a pretty reasonable mom, even if Sora does hate her for a while in the beginning. Actually, Sora's father travels a lot, which is revealed in Adventure 02, when he is Japan doing...something or other. In any case, the tie to Sora's personality is easy. To put it bluntly, Sora nags and tells everyone what to do because that's what her mom does to her, but they both do it out of love. How heartwarming e_e;

+Tachikawa Family+

Mimi's family is not too complicated either. Mimi is an only child, who'd have thought? ^^ She lives with her mommy and daddy. The picture perfect family really, I believe that Mimi's parents are the most affectionate out of all the other parents in this series. There are actually no big flaws here, just a lotta love ^_^ That goes to show you that perfect families make not-so-perfect children, haha. Just kidding ^^;;

+Izumi Family+

Here's a good ol' family conflict. Okay, okay...I wouldn't really call this a conflict, but close enough. Koushiro once walked in on his parents while they were talking about how he was adopted and discussing when they should tell him, if ever. He was shocked and all, being so little when he found out, the poor boy. They say that is the reason he was isolating himself in his compy, but really, who can help that? ^_~ Heh, nah, that's actually why. Later, when they think Koushirou might die, his parents tell him that he is adopted and he says he knew already and they all agree that they love each other even if Koushiro isn't really their son. Koushiro probably has the nicest mom ever, or is good competition against Ken's mom. Anyone have a pic of his daddy?

+Kidou Family+

Jyou's family isn't really mentioned, you never see his parents as far as I know. You do, however, see his two brothers. There is our mix-up. In the dub they made Jyou's brothers the same person o_O; One of his brothers makes a small appearance in Adventure 1 and Shuu, Jyou's other brother pops up in Adventure 02. I remember his other brother's name being Jim in the dub, I forgot if it's the same in the Japanese version. Well, we'll call him Jim for our purposes, he isn't too important anyway ^^;,

+Motomiya Family

You have got to love Daisuke's family XD They all seem so...alike ^^; First, starting with the youngest, we have out sweet goggle-head Daisuke, an airheaded soccer player. He has an older sister, Yama's age, I'm guessing, named Jun. She is quite the character ^^;; She obsesses over Yama and then Shuu (yeah, Jyou's brother XD). A lot of people hate her because of her whole...stalker aura, but...I think she's cool! ^_^ She's also quite air-headed like her brother and likes bugging him. The whole scene when she is talking about her little pimple and complaining about how Yamato won't like her makes me laugh, hee. Jun is just a girl ^_^ Daisuke's parents seem...oblivious o_O; There is one main scene that they are involved in, which is when they meet Ken, hee ^^; Daisuke's dad seems to be estatic about Daisuke having a friend and his mom seems to agree. What a crazeh family...

+Inoue Family+

Miyako's family plays no part in anything, I think. Well, I guess her dad does own that little shop where they buy food ^_^; She has 3 other siblings, one brother and two sisters. I don't really know much about them except that one of her sister's name is Momou (??). The only way Miyako's family affects her, is that there are so many people in her family, she problems getting noticed? Or something...She just wants to be the only one sometimes, getting desserts all for herself ^_^

+Hida Family+

Iori is affected by his grandfather, kind of. Oh, I guess there is a little drama story for Iori in his family. His dad died and so he lives with his mom and grandpa. His grampa tells him to be really honest and good and so Iori, being the obedient little boy he is, goes ahead and does so, even if he tries his hardest and then guilt kills him >_>; Okay okay, not so extreme. But you get my drift.

+Ichijouji Family+

Here's one to remember. This must be the most horrid scar for life there is, right? Okay, when Ken was little, his big brother Osamu(aka Sam) died in a horrible car accident. Poor little Ken was there and watched his brother die u_u! Then Ken got these weird e-mails on his computer and he found a digivice and turned evil on everybody. His mother is so...nice though o_O; She is always tending to him and being nice to him, I guess Ken's dad does that too. Oh yeah, more on Osamu... He was a real super genius or something so Ken was held up to really high expectations by the public and his parents. Lucky for him he met them easily... And well, yeah. That's how Ken's family affected his life.
