Some of it, like the Story of Skure, needs to be thoroughly understood by BMs and any others who plan to become involved in running a campaign, including team leadership. Understanding all of the inns and outs of the story, though, will enrich your time on Darlow, though, much as understanding the history of the Roman Empire adds more depth to a tour of the ancient Roman Forum. Other pieces of information, like the race descriptions, should be understood by everyone. |
