THE HISTORY OF THE PUB CRAWLS
If you've entered this website, you'll wonder what on earth this is all about (don't worry so do we!!). Well we better start from the beginning..........

To cut a long story short originally we were all part of the same football team
(The mighty Wibsey Park United, RIP). It was after a game that the idea first came to light.
Due to other commitments (girlfriends, lack of finance - more the latter!) we could not manage to go out as a group week in, week out. A suggestion was made to keep in touch socially every month or so. Within ten minutes there was four of us and a set of rules. The original four were:  Kitch, Gav, Big Scott  and Little Stu.
Scotty enjoys his first drink of the day!

, Enjoy!!!
Initially for some insane reason, the original four decided to try and do 12 pubs in one night!! Crawls at Great Horton Road and Leeds Road were followed by the first major event of the crawls at Sowerby Bridge. (See Tales from the Bar or the Drunks) This resulted in Big Scott leaving the group and his place was taken by the crawl legend, Scotty.
More History
This led to the longest run of crawls with the same people (14 crawls!). This included the near legendary night out in Ossett, rated by those that were there as one of the best.
The group of Kitch, Gav, Stu and Scotty was finally broken when a mis-understanding of some kind led to Stu not turning up on the night out. This was in fact the first crawl to be done with three of us. (Halifax Road)
